Brief Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival at Guwahati Airport/Station, Drive to Bomdila VIA Shergaon

  • Highlights: Meet and Greet at Arrival, Visit at Choskorong Waterfall, State Horticulture Apple farm (available from August-October), State Trout Fish Farm at Shergaon
  • Overnight Stay: Shergaon

 

Day 2: Shergaon to Tawang VIA Sela at 13700 ft.

  • Highlights: Sela Pass (Second Highest Pass in India at 13700 ft above sea level), Stunning Sela Lake (Frozen During Winter Season), Jaswantgarh Indo-Chinese War Memorial and the huge Jung (Nurarang) Waterfalls
  • Overnight Stay: Tawang

 

Day 3: A Day at Bumla Pass & Sangster Lake

  • Highlights: Visit the Pangateng Tso Lake and Nagula Lake. Witness Bumla Pass at the Indo-China border (15,200 ft above sea level) and visit the ever-beautiful Sangetsar Lake also known as Madhuri Lake
  • Overnight Stay: Tawang

 

Day 4: A Day at the Historic Tawang Town

  • Highlights: Tawang Monastery - the largest monastery in the country. It is situated in the valley of the Tawang Chu, in close proximity to the Chinese and Bhutanese border. Visit at the Taktsang Gompa, Giant Buddha Statue and Tawang War Memoria. Shop at the local Craft Center and Emporium
  • Overnight Stay: Tawang

 

Day 5: Tawang to Bomdila VIA Dirang

  • Highlights: Drive to Dirang and visit the Thupsung Dhargye Buddhist Monastery and the tranquil Sangti Valley - the stunning lush green landscapes near the Santi river and visit the State Sheep Breeding Farm
  • Overnight Stay: Bomdila

 

Day 6: Departure from Bomdila to Guwahati Airport

  • Highlights: Visit the beautiful Bomdila Monastery. Then drive through the highlander landscapes to Guwahati Airport/Station with everlasting memories of Tawang Trip

Important Note

    • All sightseeing can be completed with a timely start and return to the hotel
    • Any changes in the itinerary or travel plan may change the package cost
    • Vehicle duty is limited to 10 hours per day; extra hours charged at ₹300 per hour
    • Complimentary Breakfast will be as per Chef’s Menu; charges for extra order will be directly payable at hotel
    • The type of vehicle and number of rooms will depend on the number of travellers
    • The accommodation will be standard/deluxe category depending upon the location

    • Travellers are kindly requested to accommodate luggage as per vehicle capacity. As luggage carriers are restricted in many areas of the region

    • A local union taxi vehicle needs to be hired for the Bumla Pass and Sangetsar Lake excursion
    • Charges for Bumla Pass & Sangetsar will be as per actual 
    • Rates are valid and applicable for Indian Nationals only
    • Package rates are subject to availability at the time of booking confirmation
    • Package confirmation requires a minimum 40% advance payment, the remaining balance needs to be settled 24 hours before the trip starts
    • Any unforeseen surges due to natural calamities, strikes, hikes in fuel price etc. may affect the package cost
